Job Summary
Head Coach for Girls Varsity Track. Responsible for coaching the assigned athletic activity, developing and implementing program needs, organizing team tryouts and practices, recruiting and supervising student managers/trainers/scouts, coordinating off-season activities (e.g., summer training, clinics), monitoring eligibility and medical forms, and promoting academic success and proper conduct. Responsibilities include providing guidance and accountability to student-athletes, coordinating communications, maintaining program records, ensuring safety and proper use of district property, and collaborating with the athletic director to support district goals and the program’s professional image.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pupil Activity Supervisor Permit
- Coaching and program specific skills substantiated by training and/or work experience
- Available to work irregular hours and/or a non-traditional schedule
- Supplements/contract notes: Supplemental contracts offered to licensed staff with appropriate training, knowledge, and experience.
