Job Summary
Head Swimming Coach responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the high school swimming program, planning practices and meets, teaching techniques and race strategies, fostering a Christ-centered team culture, mentoring student-athletes academically and spiritually, coordinating schedules and travel, communicating with parents and staff, ensuring compliance with diocesan and league rules, promoting the program within the school and community, and contributing to offseason and middle school outreach growth.
Required Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience in competitive swimming at the high school, club, or collegiate level preferred.
- Strong knowledge of swimming technique, training methods, and race strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
- Ability to successfully complete all diocesan and school employment requirements, including background screening and Safe Environment training.
