Head Coach for men's and women's cross country and track & field responsible for coaching, recruitment, compliance, and program administration to develop highly competitive programs; duties include mentoring student-athletes, managing team budget and travel, hiring/supervising assistant coaches, ensuring NCAA rules compliance, and collaborating with campus stakeholders to enhance the student-athlete experience. Requires a bachelor's degree and five years of coaching experience; master’s degree and collegiate-level competition experience preferred. Exempt, regular full-time, 12-month position located in Schenectady, NY; salary $70,000-$72,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- five years of coaching experience in track & field/cross country
- master’s degree preferred
- ability to work evenings and weekends
- valid New York State driver’s license
- demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
