Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise a regular schedule of practice while coaching individual student athletes in mechanics and skills necessary for competitive sports. Enforce discipline of contest, school, conference, and state rules and regulations, and encourage sportsmanship and team unity. Supervise coaching staff, oversee safety conditions at NAFCS properties and off-campus facilities, and maintain accurate records of uniforms, equipment, and statistics. Submit required forms, recommend equipment purchases, and attend state and conference selection meetings. Develop a total K-12 program through camps and drills, coordinate fundraising plans with the Athletic Director, and perform other duties as assigned by administration.
Required Qualifications
- Must have excellent organizational skills
- the ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, coaches, and community while fostering a positive atmosphere
- Knowledge of NFHS, IHSSA, and/or other applicable rules and regulations
- Knowledge of basic First Aid and Athletic Training practices
- The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the corporation.

Desired Qualifications
- Experience coaching/participating in sports at the high school or collegiate level preferred
- Prior coaching experience is desirable
