Job Summary
Head Coach for Middle School Track responsible for coaching student-athletes to improve personal and teamwork skills, providing guidance and accountability, coordinating off-season activities, evaluating program needs with the head coach, promoting proper use of district property, ensuring safety, maintaining records, and supporting academic success and participation through recruitment, training, and supervision of staff and athletes, while ensuring adherence to district policies, safety protocols, and eligibility requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pupil Activity Supervisor Permit
- Coaching and program-specific skills substantiated by training and/or work experience
- Meets all mandated health screening requirements
- Record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment
- Ability to establish working relationships and function as part of a team
- Commitment to current professional skills in interscholastic athletics
- Awareness of applicable district policies and procedures
