Job Summary
Coaches middle school track program, works with student athletes to improve personal and teamwork skills, provides guidance and accountability, coordinates with head coach, maintains open communications, supports safety and district property usage, reviews procedures, attends mandatory clinics, develops off-season activities, assists with player eligibility, organizes team tryouts and practice schedules, manages equipment and transportation, and helps recruit/train student staff while upholding district conduct codes and promoting academic success.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pupil Activity Supervisor Permit
- Coaching and program specific skills substantiated by training and/or work experience
- Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive team
- Available to work irregular hours and/or a non-traditional schedule
- Supplemental contracts offered to licensed staff with appropriate training, knowledge, and experience
