Job Summary
Head Coach – Middle School Cheer responsible for developing and leading a competitive cheer program; plans practices, teaches sport-specific skills and strategies, develops game plans, promotes teamwork and sportsmanship, ensures safety, coordinates equipment and facilities, communicates with student-athletes, parents, staff, and administration, and supports recruitment and program operations; requires coaching experience, knowledge of cheer-related rules and safety, strong leadership and communication, and ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes.
Required Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience in the assigned sport or related athletic experience preferred.
- Knowledge of sport-specific rules, techniques, strategies, and player development.
- Ability to work effectively with high school-aged students in a structured and supportive environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
