Job Summary
Head Coach for High School Baseball responsible for developing players to achieve skill and sportsmanship while upholding MSHSAA rules. Leads and supervises coaching staff in coordination with the Athletic Director, plans practices and competitive schedules, ensures safety and proper supervision at away contests, manages equipment and rosters, communicates with players’ families and the community, and promotes a positive, disciplined program aligned with district policies.
Required Qualifications
- A Four-Year College Degree OR Serving as a MSHSAA Approved Assistant Coach (60 College Hours) for a minimum of TWO school years.
- First aid and CPR training required.
- Experience in teaching, coaching, and sports medicine preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
