Job Summary
Head Coach for Girls Varsity Volleyball at KIPP San Jose Collegiate in San Jose. Seasonal, part-time, non-exempt role responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the volleyball team; instructing and demonstrating skill sets for individual and team development; communicating team rules and eligibility; coordinating tryouts, scheduling, and summer programs; creating a safe learning environment; supervising athletes during practices and travel; modeling sportsmanship and professional conduct; and ensuring adherence to safety training and school policies. Requires 2–3 years coaching experience, high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred), valid CA Class C license with insurance, and a DMV record.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of High School or Club Volleyball coaching experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Valid CA license (Class C) and current insurance coverage
- Safe driving record
