Job Summary
Head Coach – Girls Soccer is responsible for developing and leading a competitive athletic program under the Athletic Director. Plan, organize, and conduct practices, training sessions, competitions, and team activities; teach sport-specific skills, strategies, conditioning, and fundamentals; develop practice plans and game strategies to promote individual and team success. Foster teamwork, discipline, leadership, accountability, and good sportsmanship; ensure adherence to team rules, school policies, league regulations, and behavioral expectations. Promote academic success and personal development of student-athletes; maintain a safe environment and enforce safety procedures during practices, games, travel, and team activities. Coordinate equipment, uniforms, facilities, and program needs; communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, staff, and administration; maintain attendance records, schedules, rosters, and other program-related documentation. Support recruitment, retention, and participation efforts within the athletic program; attend scheduled games, tournaments, meetings, trainings, and school events. Represent the school and athletic program professionally and positively at all times. Note: Non-exempt hourly position with compensation of up to $3,000 for 120 hours at $25/hour (equivalent to $52,000/year if extended to full-time).
Required Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience in the assigned sport or related athletic experience preferred.
