Job Summary
Head Coach for Girls Basketball overseeing the season dates of November 23, 2026 to March 7, 2027. Requires New Jersey Teacher's Certificate OR Substitute Teacher Certificate with proof of experience for substitute holders. CPR and AED certifications required, along with annual renewal certificates in Concussion Awareness and Wellness and Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness. All new coaches must complete a Sports First Aid course within one year of hire. Coaching experience is preferred but not required. Availability is required daily during the fall sports season. Certifications may be substituted with acceptable alternatives as determined by the Superintendent. Budget availability may affect posting. Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Teacher's Certificate OR Substitute Teacher Certificate; proof of experience required for substitute certificate holder
- Must be certified in CPR and AED, and holding a current certificate in both
- Must obtain a Concussion Awareness and Wellness certificate or its equivalent, renewed annually
- Must Obtain a Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness certificate or it's equivalent, renewed annually
- All new coaches will have one year after being hired to successfully complete a course in Sports First Aid
- Coaching experience preferred, but not required
- Must be available daily during the fall sports season
