Job Summary
Head Coach Cross Country responsible for leading, developing, and managing a competitive student-athlete cross country program at Notre Dame Prep. Oversees all aspects of team operations including practice scheduling, game preparation, athlete recruitment, compliance with school, league, and state regulations, and coordination with the Athletic Director. Requires leadership, sport-specific knowledge, recruitment ability, and a commitment to academics and athletics balance; includes evenings, weekends, and travel obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years coaching experience at high school or collegiate level
- First Aid/CPR certification required
- Lawfully authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)
- Evening and weekend work required
- Travel may be required for away games or competitions
