Job Summary
Head Coach at Chelsea Piers Fitness in New York, NY. Manage active clients to ensure a minimum training frequency of 1x per week and manage inactive clients to reactivate session utilization month over month. Perform Zoho CRM outreach to schedule complimentary sessions for the team. Conduct a minimum of 2 complimentary sessions per day (10 hours per week) with intent to convert and assign to a Personal Trainer on staff. Maintain 20 hours of admin time per week to manage the PT business and conduct up to 10 paid sessions per week (10 hours). Assist in hiring, onboarding, and developing Personal Trainers; serve as a mentor for other trainers; lead Exercise Education Monthly Meeting and Lead Weekly Team Building Workouts. Requires strong business-metrics understanding, customer service excellence, and leadership capabilities; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The role emphasizes growth of membership, team collaboration, and delivering a high-quality fitness and wellness experience.
Required Qualifications
- Analysis and understanding of key business metrics that directly impact membership growth
- Self-motivated/entrepreneurial spirit with outgoing, diligent and affable disposition
- Superior customer service skills; excellent and clear communication skills, both verbal and written; strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
