Job Summary
Head Coach responsible for developing and leading a competitive boys volleyball program. Plan, organize, and conduct practices, training sessions, competitions, and team activities; teach sport-specific skills, strategies, conditioning, and fundamentals; develop practice plans and game strategies; foster teamwork, leadership, accountability, and good sportsmanship; ensure adherence to team rules, school policies, league regulations, and behavioral expectations; promote academic success and personal development; maintain safety procedures during practices, games, travel, and activities; coordinate equipment, uniforms, facilities, and program needs; communicate with student-athletes, parents, school staff, and administration; maintain attendance records, schedules, rosters, and program-related documentation; support recruitment, retention, and participation efforts; attend games, tournaments, meetings, trainings, and school events; represent the school and athletic program professionally at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience in the assigned sport or related athletic experience preferred.
- Knowledge of sport-specific rules, techniques, strategies, and player development.
- Ability to work effectively with high school-aged students in a structured and supportive environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Background check and fingerprint clearance as required.
