Job Summary
Head Coach – Boys Soccer at Monroe High School responsibilities include planning, organizing, and implementing fundamentals, strategies, rules, and conditioning for student-athletes; providing leadership and a positive learning environment emphasizing academics and competitiveness; coordinating the program and supervising coaching staff; ensuring safety and adherence to WIAA guidelines; managing budgets, equipment, practice schedules, and transportation; organizing year-end awards and communications with administrators, parents, and the community; and maintaining professional standards and confidentiality while promoting growth and development of athletes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid First Aid/CPR card prior to assuming any coaching responsibility
- Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint clearance
- I-9 employment eligibility in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act
- HIV/HBV training (obtain within 60 days of hire date – District provided)
- Human Resources new hire training (obtain within 60 days of hire date – District provided)
