Job Summary
Lead the IMG Academy Baseball program by planning and executing high-quality practices, training sessions, and competitive preparations. Design individualized development plans for student-athletes while utilizing analytics, video review, and modern methodologies to maximize performance. Collaborate with Strength & Conditioning, Sports Medicine, and Mental Performance teams to support holistic athlete development and injury prevention. Manage recruiting and retention initiatives, build relationships with collegiate programs and industry partners, and oversee camp programming and operational planning for games and tournaments. Recruit and develop high-performing coaches, foster a positive team culture, and serve as a visible ambassador for the program on campus and within the broader baseball community. Requires 7+ years of elite baseball experience, ability to travel, and flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High level of expertise in baseball coaching, player development systems, and competitive training methodologies
- Minimum of 7 years of experience playing, coaching, or managing baseball at the collegiate, professional, academy, or elite amateur level
- Strong commitment to student-athlete development, welfare, and overall experience
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing staff, building culture, and driving program success
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of recruiting, player evaluation, and college placement processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and leadership teams
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs
- Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
- Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Business Administration, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of recruiting, player evaluation, and college placement processes
- Experience utilizing baseball technology, analytics platforms, and video analysis systems preferred
- Bilingual
- CPR Certification
- Valid driver's license with ability to drive for tournaments, games, travel
- Experience working camps
