Job Summary
Head Chef at Midland Private Hospital, leading a catering team to deliver patient-centred dining in a brand-new hospital facility. Develop and maintain service excellence, adhere to SJGHC menu control standards, ensure food safety compliance, support recruitment and onboarding, conduct performance reviews, manage disciplinary matters, collaborate with HR and Manager Support Services, and lead daily kitchen operations across diets, room service, larder, pastries, and presentation while driving budgeting, resource planning and continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- recognised trade qualification in commercial cookery
- leadership experience in large-scale food service environment
- kitchen management experience
- administration, financial oversight and compliance understanding
