Job Summary
Lead all kitchen operations in a high-volume venue, mentor and develop a large brigade of chefs, drive food quality, cost controls, safety and compliance, manage rostering and budgets, and collaborate with venue leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Key focus areas include food costing, labour management, stock control, supplier relationships, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation while fostering a positive kitchen culture and driving performance improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume venue
- Strong leadership, training, and motivation of large kitchen teams
- Strong understanding of food costing, labour management and kitchen KPIs
- Experience managing stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Calm and professional under pressure
- Passion for developing talent and a positive kitchen culture
