Job Summary
Head Chef to help launch our brand-new restaurant Yarrow at The Willowbury Retirement Village in West Malling. You’ll oversee all kitchen operations from seasonal menu development and dietary needs tailoring to residents, lead a kitchen team, ensure food safety and compliance, manage procurement and stock, and drive strong food margins while delivering high-quality dining experiences for residents and during events.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef experience
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check
- Passion for delivering high-quality, fresh food
- Proven experience managing teams, budgets, and kitchen operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Understanding of the nutritional and dietary needs of older adults
