Job Summary
The Head Chef at Xperience Restaurant Group oversees the complete back-of-house operation, ensuring food-related costs and labor are managed effectively. Key responsibilities include controlling food budgets, minimizing waste, menu development, hiring and training staff, maintaining quality standards, and complying with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with a preference for a culinary arts degree, and at least three to five years of related experience. Skills in budgeting, cost control, and staff management are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid Driver’s License
- 21+ years of age
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts
- Proficient in Windows MS Office, Open Table, Outlook
- Knowledge of profitability analysis and budgeting
- Experience with POS systems and back office reporting systems
- Guest relations
- Sanitation and safety
- Safe alcohol service
