Job Summary
Lead kitchen operations by personally preparing food, supervising all kitchen areas, and managing daily production needs. Develop new menus, ensure compliance with sanitation standards, and maintain purchasing and storage protocols. Direct staff through coaching, mentoring, and performance management while estimating weekly production and scheduling employees. Handle guest complaints, conduct training sessions, and monitor budget goals to exceed financial objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 2 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
