Job Summary
Head Cheerleading Coach leads the middle school cheer program, holds organizational meetings for team prospects, develops and implements a competitive schedule and practice plans, oversees strength and conditioning for student athletes, supervises and directs assistant coaches, participates in activities such as parents’ nights and awards events, ensures compliance with CHSAA rules, monitors attendance and academics, recognizes concussion signs and removes affected players, and may drive students to competitions using a school vehicle. Requires CHSAA coaching certification/registration, concussion course, CPR & AED certifications, and 2-5 years cheer coaching experience with strong communication and leadership abilities.
