Job Summary
Head Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market oversees a team of cashiers, provides direction and supervision, visits registers to ensure customer service, assists with issues at the register, assigns store duties, monitors supply levels, maintains cleanliness and security, schedules breaks in compliance with policy, and participates in hiring/training of cashiers. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate leadership, and maintain accuracy in cash handling and math. Requires 18+ with a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years cashiering experience with leadership training. Strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs are essential. Pay range listed: $18.20-$24.55/hour with benefits and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age

- 1-2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to operate front-end equipment (register, calculator, scanner)
- Good communication skills and teamwork
- Ability to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, stay organized
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours
