Job Summary
Head BJJ Coach responsible for managing the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program at the UFC Gym location, supervising youth and adult BJJ programs, organizing belt promotions, promoting private and small group training, conducting in-house events, seminars, and tournaments, and driving revenue. Duties include ensuring instructors follow curriculum and UFC GYM promotion systems, coordinating class schedules and stripe/belt testing, attending meetings, collaborating with instructors and regional leadership, building community, and delivering exceptional member experiences. Required: Black Belt, BJJ Belt Certificate, BJJ lineage verification, CPR/AED, at least 1 year of teaching experience; ability to work weekends (one day minimum on Saturday/Sunday or both); proficiency with dotFIT, CRM tools, Word/Excel; strong customer service, communication, organizational skills; ability to manage private and group trainings and track program measurements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Black Belt
- BJJ Belt Certificate
- BJJ lineage verification
- Grappling tournament record (preferred)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Minimum 1 year of related teaching experience
- Knowledge of Private Training techniques from assessment to program design
- Working knowledge of dotFIT program and software
- Knowledge of company policies, practices and procedures including emergency and safety procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent organizational and task-prioritization skills
- Proficiency with basic office software (Word, Excel)
