Job Summary
Lead and develop the high school boys volleyball program in accordance with MSHSAA standards; coordinate team activities, supervise athletes at practices and contests, assist in transportation, facilities, officials and game management, organize and schedule practices to develop student-athletes’ potential, emphasize safety and ethics, and pursue ongoing professional growth through clinics and publications. Requires completion of the MSHSAA/NFHS Coaching Principles Course and Sports First Aid Courses; seasonal, part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully complete the MSHSAA/NFHS Coaching Principles Course and Sports First Aid Courses
- Must fulfill 8 contact hours of professional development: District level mtgs –4hrs; School level mtgs - 3hrs; Outside mtgs/Clinics –1hr
