Lead the school athletic program as Head Boys Volleyball Coach, delivering coordination of practices, game management, and student-athlete development in accordance with MSHSAA standards. Responsibilities include coordinating the sport with the full team, ensuring safety, scheduling practices, organizing transportation and facilities, supervising student-athletes during practices and contests, maintaining equipment return per department guidelines, and pursuing ongoing professional growth through clinics and publications. Role requires completion of coaching and first-aid course requirements and adherence to professional development hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully complete the MSHSAA/NFHS Coaching Principles Course
- Must complete Sports First Aid Courses
- Must fulfill 8 hours of professional development: 4 hours District level meetings, 3 hours School level meetings, 1 hour Outside meetings/Clinics
