Head Boys Soccer Coach

Job Summary
Lead and supervise the high school boys soccer program, teaching and modeling good sportsmanship, techniques, and safety while serving as a role model for students and the school. Responsibilities include implementing and enforcing athletic policies and regulations, scheduling practices and games, coordinating with the Athletic Director and staff, organizing conferences and clinics, ensuring eligibility and parental consent are in place, managing equipment and facilities, monitoring athletes’ academic performance and conduct, recruiting athletes, communicating with the media as needed, and performing duties assigned by the Athletic Director or Principal. The role involves working Monday–Friday with evenings and some weekends, and adapting to the sport’s schedule and season, with emphasis on safety, discipline, and program development.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the NC Department of Motor Vehicles
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Education or related area
- Minimum of three (3) years of coaching experience at the middle or high school level
