Head Boys Golf Coach

Job Summary
Plan, organize, and oversee the boys golf program by teaching fundamentals, rules, etiquette, course management, and competitive strategy. Supervise student-athletes during practices, matches, travel, and other team activities while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive environment. Collaborate with the Activities Director on scheduling, transportation, rosters, equipment, and team needs. Communicate clearly with players, parents, administration, and media while representing Atlantic HS professionally. Adhere to all school, conference, and IHSAA rules and expectations. Promote the sport of golf within the school and community.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the rules, etiquette and instruction of the sport of golf, including those set forth by the IHSAA.
- Ability to create positive relationships with the student-athletes.
- Completion of all required certification for coaching in the State of Iowa.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior coaching experience preferred.
