Job Summary
Manage all administrative and coaching matters for the boys' basketball team, ensuring compliance with state and national association rules. Enforce regulations while collaborating with administration, fellow coaches, and students to promote the athletic program's best interests. Teach advanced skills and strategies, combining individual abilities into a cohesive team effort focused on enthusiastic competition, fair play, and sportsmanship. Work productively within the cooperative environment of the Ruidoso Municipal School District for the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid New Mexico Coaching licensure or eligibility
- NMAA Coaching Certificate required or eligibility
- Must demonstrate willingness to work in a cooperative working environment
- Strong reading, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed instructor
- Certified or classified staff
- CDL
- Willingness to obtain CDL
