Job Summary
Lead and coach student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training for both individual and team success; implement practice plans and game-day strategies for Head or Assistant Coach roles; ensure compliance with Ohio School Law, OHSAA bylaws, and district policies; maintain records (exams, emergency forms, equipment inventories); supervise athletes during events and travel; mentor student growth, sportsmanship, academic achievement, and character development; communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators; cultivate a safe, supportive environment and promote district athletic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) valid through Ohio Department of Education
- Background Check (BCI/FBI) on file with the district
- HCM Documentation (digital onboarding forms)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
