Head Baseball Coach - Buena Vista 26-27

Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Buena Vista High School within the Omaha Public Schools system. The role leads the athletics program for baseball, supervising staff and student participants, and ensuring program alignment with district needs and the rules of the Metropolitan High School Activities Association and the Nebraska School Activities Association. Responsibilities include setting and maintaining high expectations for learning, monitoring and supporting academic performance, enforcing behavioral standards, developing and implementing a cohesive athletics program, ensuring eligibility compliance, assisting in staff selection and development, promoting the program through district-approved activities, and guiding student-athletes toward higher education opportunities with an emphasis on scholarships and continued growth. The position requires deep knowledge of baseball, strong ethical conduct, and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community. Reports to the Building Principal and Athletic Director.
