Job Summary
Head Bartender to lead Radisson Cape Town Foreshore bar operations: supervise daily bar operations, train and motivate bartenders and bar assistants, prepare and serve beverages per recipes, engage guests, manage stock and costs, ensure liquor and food-safety compliance, develop beverage menus and promotions, oversee cash handling, maintain bar cleanliness, and support budgeting and cost-control efforts. Requires proven Head/Senior Bartender experience in a high-end/busy setting, strong leadership, guest-service excellence, familiarity with POS/inventory systems, and a creative eye for beverages.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Bartender or Senior Bartender in a high-end or busy environment
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills – able to motivate and develop your team
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with guests and colleagues
- Familiarity with POS and inventory management systems
- Knowledge of liquor licensing laws and food safety regulations
