Job Summary
Head Baking Instructor responsible for leading student training in baking skills through one-on-one and small-group instruction, modeling bakery tasks, and supporting job-readiness and inclusive learning. Will lead daily bakery production, plan schedules to meet daily demand, open the bakery, maintain a food-safe environment, manage inventory and ingredient labeling, and deliver exceptional customer service while promoting the organization’s mission of inclusive employment. Requires ability to supervise production, ensure quality standards, and coach students with disabilities, with a focus on mentorship, inclusivity, and hands-on learning.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Food Handler’s License required
- Experience in bakery, food service, or customer-facing experience
- Understanding of a Kosher kitchen a plus
