Job Summary
Lead a dynamic bakery team in a full-time Head Baker role (afternoons/evenings, with Sunday shift) at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe, overseeing artisan breads and pastries, ensuring quality and safety, and driving guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising a baking team, following recipes, managing shifts 11am-7pm with potential overnight during holidays, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining compliance with food handling and sanitation standards. Desired qualifications include leadership experience in food service or retail and 1+ years of large-scale baking/pastry experience; formal culinary education is a bonus.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of large-scale baking/pastry experience (preferred, but not required)
- leadership experience in either restaurants or retail
- attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
- must be at least 18 years of age
