Job Summary
Account Manager for Healthcare Diagnostics customers in the Eastern PA, NJ, and DE territory. Responsible for direct sales of Cancer Diagnostic products, including Genomics and Pathology automated workflow solutions, and for expanding relationships with hospitals, reference labs, cancer centers, and clinical laboratories. Develops and executes strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales goals, prepares account plans to identify customer needs and opportunities, forecasts demand and provides budget/activity reports, and delivers technical and product presentations and demonstrations. Interfaces with service, applications, and sales/marketing specialists, collaborates with customers to align objectives with product offerings, travels with a heavy field presence (travel in-territory 75-80%), supports post-implementation needs, and contributes to market analyses and business reviews. Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams, and CRM tools; experience with negotiations (quotations and agreements) and trade-show participation. Requires strong organization, teamwork, and ability to operate in a regulated healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Medical Technologist certification and/or equivalent experience
- 4+ Direct sales experience with a track record of developing new business and maintaining existing accounts
- 4+ years selling medical devices or related products and services
- Experience calling on Reference Labs, Medical Centers, Pathologists, or related providers desirable
