Job Summary
Manage end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare delivery organization providers, verifying licenses and certifications in compliance with NCQA and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate provider records in credentialing databases and coordinate with hospitals, medical groups, and health plans to facilitate timely approvals. Monitor expiring credentials to initiate renewals and prepare files for Credentialing Committee review while responding to inquiries regarding status and requirements. This remote role requires 1-2 years of healthcare credentialing experience, familiarity with NCQA standards, and proficiency in provider data management systems. Based in the Pacific Time zone, you will join MedPOINT Management, a leading Independent Physician Association dedicated to supporting healthcare providers across Southern California.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in healthcare credentialing or medical staff services
- Familiarity with NCQA, URAC, or Joint Commission credentialing standards
- Experience with credentialing software and provider data management systems
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Must be located in the Pacific Time zone and available during PT business hours
