Job Summary
HD Fitter needed to carry out diagnostics, repairs and servicing on various underground drill rigs and heavy mining equipment at Bendigo site. You’ll work with an experienced team to diagnose faults, perform repairs and preventative maintenance to OEM standards and site procedures, support equipment availability and safe, reliable performance, and collaborate with production/planning teams. Role includes a 14/14 roster with DIDO residential option and FIFO flights from capital cities; benefits include parental leave, retail discounts, novated leases, and wellbeing programs. Must hold Australian Cert III in Mobile Plant, an Australian Manual Drivers licence, and a current C Class manual licence. Experience on Sandvik drill rigs and underground heavy earthmoving equipment is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III in Mobile Plant)
- Current Australian Manual Drivers licence (mandatory)
- Current unrestricted C Class MANUAL Australian Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience working on Sandvik Drill rigs
- Experienced in the repairs and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment underground
- Breakdown repairs and servicing of heavy mining equipment
- Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical systems
- Maintain maintenance data on a daily basis
