Job Summary
Process cashiering transactions for guests including cashing checks, chip redemptions, markers, and bill breaking while ensuring all funds are secure and accounted for. Handle extremely large chip transactions accurately and create and maintain customer RA accounts using the Floor Monitor. Identify customers attempting to structure transactions or evade identification requirements and submit Suspicious Activity Incident Reports when red flags appear. Work all front line, employee, chip bank, marker bank, poker cage, F & B, and box office positions. Complete all paperwork accurately to comply with Title 31 and Know Your Customer regulations. Adhere to company policies and government anti-money laundering rules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months cashier/cash handling experience
- Basic math skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Basic 10 key adding machine skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
- Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes
- Clean criminal record concerning finances
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items
- Must be able to stand on feet 3 hours at a time
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including second hand smoke
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
