Job Summary
The HCM Technology Advisor is a customer-facing, senior-level role within SAP SuccessFactors Solution Advisory, focusing on pre-sales and early deployment architectures for HCM cloud solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor blending HCM domain knowledge with cloud security and AI insights, guiding customers on secure, scalable deployments and integration with HR, payroll, identity management, and security platforms, while addressing data privacy, governance, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR). The role entails collaboration with sales, customer success, and implementation teams, coordination with global security/compliance groups, contribution to RFx responses and pricing, and representing SAP’s viewpoint on cybersecurity and cloud governance. Strong presentations to business and technical audiences, plus 10+ years in SAP consulting/presales/solution architecture is expected. Per the posting, locations include Mumbai and Gurgaon, India.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field
- High proficiency in presenting to business and technical audiences (HR IT, CISOs, cloud architects)
- Reasonable understanding of SAP SuccessFactors modules, including architecture, extensibility, and integration options
- Knowledge of HR domain processes across Hire-to-Retire is a plus
- Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure, networking, data protection, and identity and access management (IAM)
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to HCM systems (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001)
- Experience with or knowledge of one or more hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM), cloud architecture, or SAP technologies are an advantage
- Fluency in English is required
- 10+ years of experience in SAP consulting, presales, or solution architecture roles, preferably in HCM or cloud security domains
- Strong exposure to customer-facing engagements involving SAP SuccessFactors or other HCM cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with cloud platform services and their security models
- Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation projects in HR/People Technology
- Prior exposure to SAP BTP, Integration Suite, or Identity Authentication Services (IAS) is a plus
