HCM- Support Engineer (Technical / Developer-Focused)

Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve complex technical cases across Web Search, Fetch, Browser, and Agent APIs by reproducing issues, reading logs, and inspecting Chrome DevTools Protocol sessions. Unblock customers directly with configuration changes, workarounds, and clear guidance while isolating root causes and handing precise, well-instrumented bug reports to engineering. Convert recurring patterns into documentation, code samples, and diagnostic tools to deflect tickets and shorten resolution times. Support developers integrating with our SDKs, CLI, and MCP integrations for agentic workflows, while helping define SLAs and escalation paths to scale support without linear headcount growth.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in a technical, customer-facing role
- genuine engineering background
- track record of debugging real systems
- Strong technical foundation
- ability to read Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
- ability to follow a codebase to understand behavior
- ability to reproduce issues in code
- Deep debugging instinct
- Web platform fluency
- solid grasp of HTTP
- solid grasp of REST APIs
- solid grasp of JSON
- solid grasp of authentication (cookies, sessions, headers, OAuth)
- ability to explain a subtle technical failure to a developer in writing, calmly and precisely
