Job Summary
Business Consultant in a California-focused territory responsible for proactively generating new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to post-sale implementation, and achieving monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals. Must conduct client meetings during implementation, tailor products/services to client needs, analyze data to guide strategy, and maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM. Requires frequent domestic travel, including air/ground transportation, for team onsite meetings, client visits, events, and training. Strong negotiation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to prepare concise executive summaries and provide training/coaching to team members.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (including other relevant non-traditional degree programs, certifications, or job training)
- At least two years' sales experience preferred
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) preferred
- Valid driver's license required for regular travel to client sites and company locations
