HCM Business Analyst

Job Summary
Work with HR and business stakeholders to understand requirements, map current and future-state HR processes, and develop business requirements and functional documentation. Support design, configuration, testing, and implementation of HCM solutions while identifying process improvements to simplify and standardise HR workflows. Participate in workshops, gather requirements, and validate solutions to ensure alignment with broader HR transformation objectives. This hands-on role involves defect resolution and implementation activities for a major transformation program at NCS Australia's Macquarie Park location. Initial 6-month contract with extension potential.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Business Analysis experience within HR/HCM environments
- Experience working on HR transformation or HCM implementation projects
- Strong process mapping and requirements gathering skills
- Experience developing configuration workbooks or functional specifications
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively between business stakeholders, functional teams and technical teams
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to hit the ground running
- Valid work rights for Australia
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background checking process, including probity and police checks
Desired Qualifications
- Oracle HCM experience
- Experience with an HCM platform such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Dayforce or similar
- Good understanding of HR processes, Compensation & Performance modules
