Job Summary

School Secretary II at Madisonville High School (Kentucky) provides administrative support to the Principal and coordinates communications between district personnel, school staff, parents, students and the public. Responsibilities include organizing and scheduling a wide range of clerical and secretarial duties, composing letters and reports, budgeting assistance, processing purchase orders, maintaining financial and statistical records, coordinating events, supervising clerical staff and student assistants, and using office machines and technology to support daily school operations. Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or GED and three years of office/secretarial experience with public contact.
