Job Summary
Support instructional staff at Indian Capital Technology Center Muskogee Campus as an Instructional Assistant (Aide/Coach). Requires a High School Diploma or GED, LPN certification, and attendance at a state clinical performance evaluation seminar; preferred bus driver certification and two years of related trade experience. Responsibilities include assisting instructors, maintaining professional competence, coordinating with clients, students, staff, and administration, and performing other duties as assigned. Must be on time, able to work extended hours/days as required, and possess strong reading, comprehension, and communication skills. 180-day contract; primary function to support instructional staff and maintain a positive community image.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- LPN certification
- One day state clinical performance evaluation seminar
- Prefer school bus driver certification
- Prefer two years experience in a trade related occupation for the area of assignment
- Excellent communication and human relations skills
- Ability to work with diverse skill levels
- Read and comprehend extensive written materials
- Ability to stand for long periods and move around campus
- Ability to handle high stress and meet deadlines
- Self-starter with reliability and punctuality

- Prefer two (2) years successful work experience in a trade related occupation for the area of assignment

- Regular attendance following a designated work schedule
- Must be able to work extended hours and additional days/evenings as required by position responsibilities
- Able to read and comprehend varied and extensive written documents, regulations, and reference materials
- Able to stand for long periods and to move around the campus
- Requires stooping, bending and carrying of such items as books, manuals, files and other job related items
- Moderate to extreme emotional effort
- Frequent deadlines requiring concentrated effort and overtime work
- Must be a self starter
- Must be able to handle high stress situations at peak periods
- To support the instructional staff in a professional manner
- On time for workdays
- Other duties as assigned
