Job Summary
Educate and inspire confidence in hospice services to drive timely patient referrals by calling on hospitals, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, clinics, and physician offices. Engage healthcare professionals in meaningful conversations about patient needs, plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase referral growth, and represent the organization at community events and professional associations. Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families, ensuring they understand hospice options and the benefits of early referrals. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, two years in healthcare sales, and existing relationships with medical professionals, with a salary range of $63,700 to $79,710 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
- Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or home health professionals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
- Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health is a plus
