Job Summary
Provide individual, family, and group counseling to ACT members in community settings such as homes and workplaces. Complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and submit managed care authorizations while maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, apply trauma-informed care principles, and respond to crisis situations as needed. This role requires active licensure in North Carolina and daily travel within the community. Strategic Interventions, LLC serves adults with severe and persistent mental illness across eight offices in North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a human services field
- Active licensure in North Carolina as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW‐A), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC or LCMHC‐A), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)
- Minimum 1 year experience working with adults with serious mental illness
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Strong understanding of ACT Team model and community-based treatment
- Knowledge of social work and therapy principles, family and group dynamics
- Ability to manage complex cases and express ideas clearly and concisely
- Familiarity with managed care processes and authorization submissions
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Travel will vary daily and occurs within the community where members live and work
Desired Qualifications
- 3–5 years of behavioral health experience preferred
