Job Summary
Conduct daily site operations for healthcare construction projects in active hospitals, maintaining facility safety and uninterrupted patient care. Prepare and implement Methods of Procedure for critical MEP systems, coordinate subcontractor work, and manage material deliveries while ensuring strict compliance with infection control protocols and regulatory codes. Interpret architectural plans, conduct weekly foremen meetings, and manage on-site inspections with city and health department authorities. Maintain accurate daily logs, track change orders and costs, and coordinate punchlist work to guarantee project completion. Requires five years of HCAI Superintendent experience and full understanding of building codes and OSHA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- At least five (5) years of experience as a HCAI Superintendent
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and thoroughly understand architectural and engineered plans, details, and specifications
- Trade-specific knowledge of carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and finishes
- Full understanding of building codes, OSHA requirements, injury and illness prevention plans, subcontracts, project schedules, submittals, RFIs and similar documents
- Working knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam
- OSHA-30, first aid, and CPR certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Ten plus (10+) years experience
- Bachelor's degree or relevant certification
- Experience with BIM, MS Project, and similar softwares
