Job Summary
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients in home care; monitor and document client health status, report changes to the care team; assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or activities; maintain a clean and safe environment; support clients with medication reminders and adherence; engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being; communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals; adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid HCA or CNA certification in Washington state
- TB test within a year of employment
- Experience in home care or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
