Job Summary
Conduct safe loading, transport, and delivery of oversized fabricated steel, mining equipment, mobile plant, and general freight while adhering to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and company standards. Operate a diverse range of equipment including HIAB crane trucks, mobile cranes, and Franna cranes, with experience in rail industry or riggering highly regarded. Manage pre-employment medicals and ongoing drug and alcohol screening as part of the safety commitment. Work predominantly Monday to Friday with regular overtime, occasional night, weekend, and interstate rotations to support major Australian infrastructure and mining projects. Required Qualifications
- HC Licence (minimum)
- MC Licence
- Demonstrated experience transporting oversized loads and fabricated steel products
- Experience with mining equipment, mobile plant, access equipment and general freight
- Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Heavy Vehicle National Law and WHS requirements
- A professional attitude with excellent communication skills
- A genuine commitment to safety, compliance and customer service
- A current Forklift Licence (essential)
- The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical together with ongoing drug and alcohol screening
Desired Qualifications
- MC Licence highly regarded
- HIAB crane truck experience
- Mobile Crane and/or Franna Crane experience
- Dogman and/or Rigger tickets
- Rail industry experience or current rail inductions
