Job Summary
Oversee dining room operations by serving meals, assisting residents, and maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. Train and mentor dining staff while scheduling tasks, monitoring pantry organization, and ensuring cleanliness and temperature documentation are up to code. Participate in staff training programs and assist with dishwashing duties to support daily dining service. Work weekends and holidays as needed in a supportive team environment focused on exceptional hospitality and resident care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of customer service experience
- Oregon Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to successfully complete ServSafe training
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred
- Previous leadership, trainer, or team lead experience preferred
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to mentor and support team members
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Professional, dependable, and service-oriented attitude
